A few important updates at the gym
Hello!
I hope this spring is treating you all well. The flowers are in bloom, the weather is getting warmer, and that generally means we all wake up out of hibernation (hopefully) and become a little more active. That includes going to the gym!
I just wanted to take a moment to send a few updates and notes out to everyone:
Please try and keep the gym tidy after personal use. The gym is a community of like minded members that appreciate the fact that the gym is clean, modern, and small. Please be respectful and remember to clean up after yourself; that includes putting weights away, throwing your towels in the hamper, and remembering before you leave to take any trash and put it in the trash bins.
Please be mindful of the thermostat and the music when you leave the gym. I happily encourage everyone to make the space their own when working out. That includes adjusting the temperature and the music to your liking. However, when you leave, please return it to its original state.
Please say hello (if you see him) to Tony Ponte, a former Equinox Tier 3+ trainer out of New York City that is now operating as a trainer out of Refinery. He has a great personality, is highly skilled, and his methodologies and philosophy on exercise align perfectly with Refinery. Reach out for more information if you want to see how he can help you!
Lastly, in June of 2024 my training rates will increase to $125 / hour for new clients. This isn’t an easy decision but as nearly every cost has gone up in the last few years, a price increase is the main way I can continue to offer the best possible experience in Rhinebeck.
Anyway, that’s all for now. I wish you all well and thanks for reading through this update!
Best,
Navin
